Creation of Trans-Négoce in St-Etienne-du-Gué-de-l'Isle (central Brittany region of France).

Marcel Garnier creates a company specialized in the trade of ground-related products (such as fertilizers or phytosanitary products) and the transport of goods (thanks to pulverulent tank trucks and grain dump trucks). At that time, the company employs 5 people for 2 vehicles.

1980

Focus on Transport.

Given the strong development of the transport business, he decides to sell the trade division. This new strategy leads to the transfer of the operations to La Chèze city (Brittany).

1985

New company name: TMG

The name of the company is changed to Transports M. Garnier SA (a limited company), so as to insist on the decision taken in 1980 to focus on Transport.

1986

New activity: delivery to cattle farms

TMG develops a new activity of cattle food delivery.

1992

Settling in Loudéac city (Brittany)

With 80 people and 50 vehicles, the growth of the company requires a new site of 5 hectares (12.5 acres), with a 1,200m2 integrated workshop.

1997

Building of a cleaning station.

Precursor as for food hygiene, the company invests 760 K€ in the building of the second cleaning station in Brittany, specialized in the cleaning of pulverulent and liquid tank trucks.

Besnier Bridel food certification (B.B.A.).

Since it was created, the cleaning station is certified as for food hygiene, and meets the requirements of the major human food industry groups (Mars, Miko, Kraft-Jacob-Suchard…).

2001

Creation of Eltrans (Elevage Transport Service)

The growth of the cattle food delivery business and its particularities leads to the creation of ELTRANS. This company has dedicated vehicles, in exclusive renting. Those two companies employ 270 people, for 190 vehicles.
